The Moni Telegram Bot is a Telegram based surface for using Moni without leaving Telegram. It is designed for workflows where speed matters and where you may want to react directly from a chat, alert, or command interface instead of opening a browser tab or trading terminal.

The Moni Telegram Bot puts trading and alerts inside the chat app you already keep open. When speed matters, you react straight from a message. No browser tab, no terminal, no context-switch.

It runs on the same Moni account and trading infrastructure as the extension — MEV protection and the fee logic from the [Fees section](/moni/fees.md) apply here too.

<h3 align="center">What the Telegram Bot does</h3>

The Telegram Bot gives you a faster, command based way to interact with Moni. Depending on the available features, you can use it to:

* start trades directly from Telegram
* use saved presets for faster execution
* check and manage active positions
* receive alerts and updates
* interact with supported token and wallet flows
* access trading features with MEV protection where available

{% hint style="success" %}
The bot does not replace the Browser Extension. It provides a different interface for your workflow: Telegram is better suited for quick actions and command based interactions, while the extension is better suited for visual browser based research and overlays.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://moni-ai.gitbook.io/moni/surfaces/telegram-bot.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
